The app installed this on June 19th and failed today August 23rd. The drive is not recognized by the system it was on. Edit: after further testing, this is not a complete bug. Everyone else sees this: you are working perfectly, and suddenly the system can no longer find the hard drive. It takes a full power cycle before the BIOS recognizes the drive again. 2. Edit: After reading many of these reports, it became clear that this could be caused by the BIOS and fast boot. I ended up updating the BIOS on this ASRock system but also replacing this drive with my laptop which worked fine for a month. So it's NOT dead, but there is an unknown issue with it. As for me, I'm happy again.
