If you're buying kitchen towels I can make it easy for you. I gave these towels five stars because I knew what to expect. And because I need them. They will only work for you if they meet your specific needs for a new set of kitchen towels. So here's what they are and what they aren't. You are tall but thin. If you need kitchen towels as thick as a regular bath towel (or thicker) then this is not for you. They are not decorative. All of them may have different patterns but they are not really meant to be pleasing to the eye. If you're looking for kitchen decor, kitchen towels that look cool or match a specific theme, this isn't for you. They don't absorb moisture very well compared to some thicker kitchen towels. They will work as a last resort to clean up the spill. Good for counter cleaning. Saves you from buying paper towels. Note, however, that you may need to use several of these to soak up large spills. They are much stronger than other kitchen towels. I don't have to worry about them tearing as easily as some of the other kitchen towels we've had. Very strong although thin and it works for me.5. In fact, they can be used as "store" towels. Need to wipe the grease off your hands while working a truck? They're great for that. Do I need to wipe something when I work on our land? This is a solid choice. It's nice that I can use them for more than just the kitchen.6. Not bad for cooking. I like to have a kitchen towel tucked in or handy when I'm cooking. An easy way to dry your hands without having to reach for a paper towel (and wrapping things around a roll of paper towels in the process). I like kitchen towels a bit thicker and softer, but so far they have served their purpose well. It doesn't cost anything either, I don't use it to wash or dry dishes. For the above purposes only.
