This set seems strong. I liked that it had 3 keys and all the locks closed the same way. The tongue lock is perfect for my 5x8 mower trailer but may be too small for larger trailers. I liked that it came with a hitch lock. Many victims don't realize that when the trailer is attached to the recipient's hitch, it is very easy to remove the hitch from the victim's truck and insert it into the thief's truck. This is a deterrent that can be turned off if the thief needs time. I wish they had offered a wheel lock in this kit. I bought a separate wheel lock for $30 which was fine but obviously doesn't use the same key. Although it may deter a thief, please do not assume that this system alone will keep your trailer secure. Our local trailer thieves often use security chains (or single short chains) to transport trailers to a hidden location where they can cut those locks with a cutting tool. A wheel lock provides extra security, but it can also be circumvented by a thief, which means additional time and effort. In fact, it's best to hope the thief doesn't notice your trailer, since the extra effort it would take to remove or bypass the security devices.
