OK for the price. - Towing and winch items

When I got my hands on these it was obvious they weren't designed to protect against prepared theft but you get what you pay for. Locks only make honest people honest; You will not stop being prepared. The yellow clutch lock is not working optimally. The push rod doesn't go through the lock body as smoothly as it could and the lock's latch seems to be a bit loose. You have to work with him a little bit to make him catch. All this to say that it is enough to deter the spectator's crime and it is

2 out of 3 is bad

The good news is that 2 out of 3 locks are still open after a month of bad weather. I greased them all when I installed them a month ago. I went out today and was able to unlock the pin lock and rosette lock but not the hitch lock. The castle turned halfway and went no further. I shot it with penetrating lube (WD-40) and wobbled and wobbled. I poured some more 30w oil into the keyhole and shook it for about 15 minutes total. It wouldn't move. I'll try again tomorrow but I think I'll have to…

Complete set, everything you need for the trailer.

Let's start with the obvious: with the right tools and time, any trailer can be stolen. I just bought a $1800 utility trailer and after reading reviews on this and other items to protect it from theft I bought it for the price. None of the items in this set receive the Fort Knox Safety Award. However, I believe they don't let the average "dumb" thief just steal what they're into. Given a relatively large $20 hammer and bolt cutter for Home Depot, these items and just about every other trailer…

Pretty good stuff for tow parts and winches

Look folks, I was looking for a set of locks for my motorcycle trailer and I found what I was looking for. I was skeptical at first, but when the package arrived I started sweating. Not because of the castle, but because it's hot as hell in South Texas! And I had to go to my air conditioned garage to install everything! The clutch lock works perfectly, as does the receiver lock. The smaller receiver lock is for Class II and the larger for Class III+. I used a padlock as my trailer door lock…

Works Great - Towing and Winching Products

We bought this to attach a towed vehicle to an RV and to hitch a trailer to another vehicle for 1400 miles in 4 days. I also used a lock to attach my $1,500 hitch to the van when it was initially stored. This set had everything we needed. It's good that everyone has the same keys. We will definitely use components from this for road trips in the future. I've searched the internet for many different products like this and none of them had perfect anti-theft protection. Such locks deter casual or

Poor quality for a long time

Not a bad deal when you need to lock something up for a few months or less. In the long run? take something better I use all three - the tongue lock on my caravan. This has worked well for almost two years. The clutch lock failed after less than two years. Keep in mind that I have probably used the lock less than 10 times in its short lifespan. The lock just doesn't engage the teeth anymore. No amount of WD40 or other lube helped. The locking mechanism is just plain cheap. I think a good hit…

  • Definitely bad product

Good set but not all solutions.

This set seems strong. I liked that it had 3 keys and all the locks closed the same way. The tongue lock is perfect for my 5x8 mower trailer but may be too small for larger trailers. I liked that it came with a hitch lock. Many victims don't realize that when the trailer is attached to the recipient's hitch, it is very easy to remove the hitch from the victim's truck and insert it into the thief's truck. This is a deterrent that can be turned off if the thief needs time. I wish they had offered
