Let's start with the obvious: with the right tools and time, any trailer can be stolen. I just bought a $1800 utility trailer and after reading reviews on this and other items to protect it from theft I bought it for the price. None of the items in this set receive the Fort Knox Safety Award. However, I believe they don't let the average "dumb" thief just steal what they're into. Given a relatively large $20 hammer and bolt cutter for Home Depot, these items and just about every other trailer lock would be off the hook.
