Review on Rollers Styling Professional Electric Hairstyles by Maggie Bortolussi

I RECOMMEND but with some advice

The size of this unit is ideal for travel or those with limited desk space (e.g. campers). Curlers are best for thin hair. or longer than upper chest. It is best to twist thin strands of hair. I only use it on completely dry hair. The curlers get very hot (after 2-3 minutes). If you have sensitive fingertips wear proper protection otherwise you will think they are getting very hot. But the curlers have to be hot for the hair to curl, and they get the job done. Also, keep them in your hair until they cool; If you brush your curls while your hair is still warm, the hairstyle won't last all day. The clips heat up nicely, it's just a nice extra feature but I don't think it greatly affects the longevity of the curls. Works the same without heating them up. This block is designed so that each roll "plugs" into a location on the base. So you can't burn yourself as the base doesn't get hot BUT this design requires you to carefully remove each reel from the connector in a straight upward motion. You don't want to bend the pins of the connector (don't know how easily that can happen or if it does, but I wouldn't test it). They feel tight and I don't know if the fir will loosen with use. Even if you are a beginner, you may find it easier to curl your hair with a straight-top roller; They have "combs" that help grab hair but can cause tangles if not rolled properly. I personally like them. To be clear, they may not be for everyone, but they work and the price is good.
