The remote control is not set up and comes without instructions.
After finding the instructions online I was able to restore the transmitters. However, the home button does not work. I called Revain support to explain the situation - neither Revain nor the LG TV representative could help me. I'm keeping it as a backup and going back to Best Buy for it.
