I use this tracker for security purposes in the Dominican Republic. This is the fourth one I've tried. Unreliable connections, short battery life, inaccuracy and poor software stood in the way of the rest. I couldn't get any good information on how this block could work in DR, but I decided to give it a try. My expectations were low based on previous products. Turns out that's what I was looking for. I didn't even know if it would connect, but it did immediately with no issues (literally turned it on, went to the tracking site and everything was fine). I ran the tracker around the house as a test just to see if it would detect movement. It was, and to my astonishment it gave details of the movement; Distance and turn by turn. What I didn't expect. Once in the vehicle, it proved equally reliable and accurate. The software is reliable and offers location information, individual lanes, street views, where the vehicle stopped (not everywhere, but more than you would expect in DR). You can reproduce the movement of a car with 1x to 100x magnification. This is way better than a bunch of static strings that need to be decrypted. You can only see what really happened. There are many device settings, reports, alarms and other options that you can set. I haven't gotten that deep into these features, and it probably isn't necessary, but this is by far the most complete system I've seen. I believe the results are even more impressive in the US where more satellite and street view detail is available. The only thing I can't comment on is the impressive claimed battery life. I've had a week of no slump experience, but I'll post actual results as soon as I have them. I was disappointed with the results of the previous sections and decided I had to settle for what I could get. This tracker is way better than I expected and actually more than I need. The cost was not higher than the others. Very impressive. PS: Since I'm so impressed I've read 1, 2 and 3 star reviews. I would advise no trust based on the nature and quality of these reviews/complaints.
