Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Tool Aid S&G (87425) Windshield Cut-Out Wire: Golden Efficiency Unleashed by John Stefko

Great job removing the car window!

If you are planning to remove your car's windshield yourself, do yourself a favor and purchase this wire. I have changed the windshield on my Jeep Wrangler twice. The first time I bought a retractable knife, which is the standard tool for cutting a windshield. The retractable knife was completely useless. Wouldn't cut anything! I tried to remove the whole windshield but it shattered into a thousand pieces, I cut myself. It was a disaster. I didn't want to repeat this nightmare the second time around, so I explored alternative methods. I came across this windshield cutting wire with a tool. That was the best $10 I've ever spent! To protect the paint, I stuck tape around the outside of the windshield. I cut 15-20 feet of this wire. I used two pieces of wood as handles. Remove the outer molding, tuck the wire under the corners of the driver's side windshield and gently pull the wire back and forth on the passenger side so the wire cuts through the urethane seal. It took less than 5 minutes to cut the entire filling. The urethane seal smoked! I laughed as I effortlessly cut the seal around the entire windshield. Cuts like butter! I immediately threw my old jackknife in the trash. It worked wonderfully! I will never use anything else. Absolutely the right tool for the job. You'll be amazed. Couldn't be happier! That stuff rocks!
