Ms. Nayler is planning to sell some books, so she asked me to get these items so I can remove the price stickers. She is quite happy with both types of cleaners as she also has some hard surface items to detach. I have only used plastic cleaners so far and I am very satisfied. In a large chain with multiple departments I have used it to remove price stickers and members retain more stickers from books purchased from a certain large bookstore chain and I have used it to remove price stickers and barcodes from books that are were bought online. The time I had to work on this was when I removed some stickers from the back of a book and they had obviously been there for a number of years. Also, someone tried to remove one of the stickers, so at first there wasn't a good edge, like a full sticker. There was also chewing gum leftovers, but with a bit of effort I got a clean book. This is a really good product for dealing with some of the sticky things in life.
