Good thin straight hair? ME TOO! AND BILL SPLIT TIP

Share a photo of one side after using these curlers and Sebastian Shaper hairspray! This was done in November 2019, I'm 68 and my fine fine hair hasn't gotten thicker over the years! I wanted volume, not tight curls, and I got it. THAT and my hairspray led to this result. FIRST - SEPARATION! The smallest rolls come out easily, the two largest act as one. At first I tried just pulling it apart, then I just stuck two fingers all the way into the second largest roll and tried to pull with the other hand. It didn't move much, so I flipped the reels to the OTHER side and did it again. They came apart pretty easily! So if they don't move in one direction, turn around and try the other way. Took them all apart in about five minutes. ADVANTAGES: EASY TO USE. It's been a long time since I've used curlers, but in one form or another for decades, so you know how to curl your hair. I did a small amount of hair and my hair was quite wet. I used the hair dryer on low speed and tested it dry by removing the roller. When they were dry I took them out BUT I DID NOT CLEAN THEM IMMEDIATELY. WITHOUT REALIZATION. NO PROBLEM removing the curlers from my hair at all. Stay in place - I didn't even use the clamps. I have thin and thin hair and have not had hair wrapped in curlers. I pulled the roller to my head hard enough and they just stayed. NOW I didn't jump, didn't sleep in it, just sat at the computer but didn't use a single clip. PLUG TYPE - I didn't want a lot of curl, more volume and it was easier on my hands than taking a round brush and using a blow dryer and it gave me more volume. Even with the smallest curlers at the back of the head (growing out a short pixie haircut again! so don't go long there), just a loose curl. PERFECT. Didn't want the old lady's tight curls. STOP – OK, if you have GOOD FINE HAIR like me you either need to use a setting lotion or gently brush and use hairspray after drying. I SWEAR SEBASTIAN SHAPER (Original). I kind of pin my hair in place, lean to either side, spray and lift my hair, get lots of volume and fixation. I lean forward and smooth my hair slightly on top. When it dries I brush lightly (it has more thickness from the spray), press down and spray again. PACKAGING WORKS FOR ME! - I have to comment on the packaging. It comes unbranded, just has a printed sticker that can be printed on a copier that says 'Do-it-yourself hair stick. Made in China". It's just a zipped bag with a sealed roll bag inside. Clippies just lie loose in a zipped bag. I've never used clips, I have metal clips but I did NOT need CLIPS at all when I used my hair with it turned.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • Not as good as it says
