I was looking for this type of product for my little Yorkie. I needed something that would allow me to hold it securely and leave my hands free to run errands and the like. It's almost too big for my dog, as well as pets up to 20lbs or even 2 smaller ones (it has 2 clips). What I did was use a small neck pillow that I already had and never used. So it is higher with better visibility. Now she loves it. Yesterday we went for a walk and I put her bandage on the floor by the door to get something else I needed and when I got back I found her sitting in a bandage ready to go - she knows what it's for ! Because she's so roomy, I sometimes even put a few other things under my pillow, like my wallet, keys, her leash, her doggie bag, and one of her toys. There is a small pocket on the strap but I haven't used it yet. Now she also likes to snuggle up in it and take naps inside (even if no one is wearing it). This works well for us! UPDATE: It has been almost 2.5 years and I am happy to report that my pup still loves his headband and we find it very comfortable to wear. We use it every day and it still looks brand new.
