I hesitate to write this review as this is my third coffee maker in less than a year. They just don't hold up anymore. Nowadays, people design these devices as if they are disposable. My last drip took less than 30 days (thanks to cuisinart) but this one lasted over a month! Hooray! I blame all of this poor quality on the advent of coffee makers. Nobody cares about drip manufacturers anymore. Well, we still use the drip system at my house and it's been a frustrating year finding an attractive and durable machine! This one isn't the prettiest, in fact I find it ugly, but I wanted to try Krups and the price of this car was right. I don't like the whole tube/straw that the coffee goes through. It is difficult to clean. However, the fountain is easy to fill with my Zero water pitcher, and that alone is worth the price. I like the reusable filter and I like the "fat" brew option, although it takes longer. All in all I would buy it again and hope it will last a long time. I can't promise what will happen, but I don't have money for Mocha Master!
