Attention: This is an SDS-Plus drill. If you don't know what that means (and neither do I), it means regular drills won't work with this drill. This requires special slotted bits. It seems crazy to me that a drill has a switch to switch from a hammer drill to a drill only, but you can't just use a regular bit and there is NO ADAPTER for that. Also, they don't appear to make SDS-Plus format screwdriver bits. The only way to use a drill as a screwdriver is to buy an adapter (I found one for $30). However, the cool thing about SDS is that the bits are really easy to change. Nothing to tighten and no wrench required. . They are simply plugged in and are immediately ready for use. The drill itself with the matching SDS-Plus carbide drill bit cuts through concrete like butter compared to my old handyman and masonry bit. Two battery packs last longer than me. A good suitcase is also included. I would definitely recommend if you are aware of the SDS Plus situation.
