The only good thing is that it's easy to clean. All of the cooking surfaces slide off easily and are all fairly non-stick. I threw mine in the dishwasher once just to see if they survived and were ok. Now the reasons why I would never recommend this. * Handles on bottom mini pans heated FAST * Uneven heating on top - edges are almost cold compared to center of lava * Uneven heating on bottom - pans in center are double boiling with above heating element and this causes that everything cooks at different speeds, even at the same temperature setting * The temperature setting was quite inconsistent. What almost worked the first time didn't work the second time for the same food. After almost a dozen uses, I gave up thinking I just needed to learn better techniques. The unpredictable and uneven heating was too annoying for me to keep messing with this thing!
