Bought for a 3.5 year old. He normally wears North Face winter boots, but this year he wears a size 10 winter boots, and the alpenglow toddler boots we usually buy only fit a size 9C; The small children's version is MUCH more expensive. Thought we'd try them because they were on sale on Black Friday and they were bigger. He loves her! I love the velcro on the bottom that helps him tighten it and the gaiter on top that hugs his calf tightly. Now NOTHING goes into his boots or winter trousers! We just had about 30cm of snow early in PNW and he should check it out. His feet stayed warm and dry during hours of tobogganing. He likes that they don't have fluffy firs on the inside (too "girly," he says). Instead, they have a thick wool lining. They are a bit heavier (more than the north face) but he can walk and run in them easily. He even wore them as a preschooler. The gray and bright orange colors are so cool! Love the bright soles. Speaking of soles, they are SUPER durable and have great traction. For the first time all season he didn't slip and fall on his prey! I highly recommend them! They are true to size and go well with his wide (regular width) legs. Hope that helps. 😊
