I made a sausage with this syringe, works great. Once you get past the learning curve of flipping and catching sausage, you'll be able to make sausage very quickly. I made about 4 1/4 pounds and it took about 20 minutes including putting on the clam [I used 3 clams]. It is easy to clean, the filler is made of easy-care materials and looks solid. The only critical comment, but I don't care, is that it didn't contain the amount of meat I cooked and I had to refill it once. It doesn't matter to me, but it's something to consider when choosing a pen size. To be fair, I didn't weigh the mix before filling, just relying on the weight of the meat pack. Next time I'll check and if I'm wrong I'll correct my rating. This too was minor for me. Anyway, thumbs up.
