Review on GoldTone Reusable Basket Coffee Filter by Radney Taala

This filter is easy to clean and looks like it will last. I use it with the Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker - Model 46290. It fits perfectly and works great, making 4 "cups" (using the scale on the carafe where the "cup" is only 6 ounces) of coffee without Grind. ready coffee. I grind my coffee to look like coarse cornmeal (no powder that will clog the filter and cause overflow), use about 10-12t, and after brewing the soaked ground expands to about 1.5 inches from the top of the filter basket. . This filter is perfect for my coffee maker basket, but I can't imagine making a full cup of coffee at the standard 2t per "cup" even with a paper filter as that would take 24t of coffee, twice what I use use. which would fill the basket almost dry, let alone soaked, but that's more down to the seemingly mis-declared performance of the coffee maker. Actually, it should be an 8-cup coffee maker.
