Better quality than the original part
High quality casting of the original pan, the surface was very smooth compared to the factory part which had an extremely rough cast. A hole in the front of the sump (where the wiring harness attaches) was unthreaded and had to be hand drilled, but that was a minor inconvenience, and aluminum is easy to machine.
