Review on International Concepts BJ6TD Mission Unfinished by Denise Portis

The block is remarkably well built. I just didn't expect it to be as durable or as beautiful. I read in a review that the top is not suitable for dyeing. and this man was right. It doesn't look as good as it could when varnished (but for the price I didn't expect it to be THAT GOOD). If you paint this block I think you will have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars. I used Varathane stain (very quick drying) and very easy to use Minwax polyurethane rub for protection. very strong, very sturdy and it's a really nice piece of furniture.
