Wow. With over a few thousand orders placed by Revain over the last 10 years, I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of reviews I've left (although I rely on them a lot). This article was so impressive that it was absolutely worth another. To be honest I forgot I ordered it and was pleasantly surprised to see the wonderful but flimsy packaging in an envelope. I was wondering what it could be! What is of such excellent quality that I ordered to present in this wonderful box? Continuing my investigation, I opened it up to find a tablet (iPad) holder. That's when it really hit me. As soon as I picked it up, I knew right away that this is for a pro. It's different from any tablet holder I've seen. I tried a few that had a sturdy design but were just bulky and still contained a lot of plastic. However, this item has solid metal construction and is really pretty (at least as pretty as a tablet holder can be, haha). The design is so simple yet almost elegant given its versatility and magnificence. Being able to adjust both ends of the clamps independently is incredibly handy. Clamps are usually spring loaded to varying degrees depending on the elongation. This setup results in a weak or very tight clamp depending on the size of the tablet being used. However, with this clamp you have a lever on one side which when released allows the clamp to extend halfway to your chosen length. The other side cleverly contains some sort of thumbscrew adjustment. Together you can quickly adjust the length of the clamp half by setting the desired tension with the thumbscrew that holds the tray securely in place. Again, such a simple, functional design, but I've never seen anything like it (and I've bought several versions). In addition, the 1/4 thread placement adds even more versatility. The ability to mount it on a stand on the back or bottom means this tablet holder has enough flexibility to handle almost all of your apps. I'm really impressed with it. I'm dabbling in photography and have a lot of quality gear and I can honestly say it goes beautifully with the expensive gear I already have. If you're nervous, I strongly recommend that you stop looking elsewhere and pull the trigger. With Amazon's incredible policy, you can still return it if you don't like it (which I highly doubt). Anyway, I hope this review helps! I never thought I could be this excited about a tablet holder and yet here we are. Quality product, quality materials, quality design. This is a win-win situation.
