Review on ๐Ÿ”Š Immerse in High-Fidelity Audio with Elac Uni-FI UC5 Center Speaker (Satin White) - Single Unit by Elder Unogu

Great sounding center speaker!

A great sound upgrade for my center channel. My previous Infinity Primus PC251 center channel speaker never sounded as good as the Infinity Primus P363 speakers (front left and right). This speaker is a better match than the center channel from the same company and line of speakers. The fact that it's a different brand doesn't matter if it sounds good. The only thing that might be an issue is that I had to turn the center channel up to around +7 to hear the dialogue the way I wanted it. Infinity is only needed to increase +4. As such, it appears to draw more power than the Infinity Primus speakers. I'm pretty sure it's a 4 ohm difference compared to the usual 8 ohms. As much as I love my cheap Infinity Towers, this center channel has me intrigued to buy Elac UniFi Towers at $400 per speaker. I'm sure it'll be a nice upgrade, but Infinity's not far behind either. The other towers on my radar are SVS Prime. I really feel like I should stick with Elac now that I own the center channel. I got this core channel after Christmas when Black Friday/Cyber Monday prices were still around and I couldn't resist the deal. Price check: Right now, it's actually a bit cheaper at $239.88. The price pushed me to Elac. UniFi towers have already been on sale, so I'll keep an eye on them. I don't feel the need to upgrade my surround speakers as they are primarily for effects and sound good enough for what they do. I will be adding SVS Prime Heights or Satellites for the front height channels, which also requires an A/V receiver upgrade; probably an Onkyo TX-RZ920 with slightly higher quality and performance than the current year TX-NR737 and model 787. I need 9 active channels and one active zone 2 for my patio speakers to work. I could have used a separate amp for the extra 2 rear height channels but it would have been a little overpowered by my surround and surround back sounds.
