We have used these to replace overheated halogen bulbs that have melted their fittings as they are much colder. The color temperature is excellent and we are satisfied with the brightness. Installation was easy, but I don't recommend using the included wired 120V line connector (use wire nuts). Let's see how they hold up over time, they'll be 24/7.
