I usually choose large sizes as I am currently about 6ft 3in and 230-240 but as there is no option for larger size I have decided for XXL. The body is a little larger than I need, but the sleeves fit perfectly both in length and in the arms. Typically on a forearm guard or Bilt Blaze jacket, for example, they are too tight in the forearm, upper arm, and upper arm, but that's perfect. A little baggy in the middle of the torso, but the unnecessary velcro straps soak it up nicely. I wish it was a bit longer in the torso as it sits above my waist like the photos of the guy in the ad. I ride a rebuilt DRZ every day so overall I'm upright and the extra length would still be nice. If I had ridden a road bike, I would have had a major plumbing tear. The mesh is good, but as I've seen other reviewers, I wish it didn't have a huge tablet pocket on the right side straight ahead. It already has a lining behind the mesh that blocks airflow through the jacket and this tablet pocket is a wind killer. It could have been cut, but it's sewn well and it would be a shame to ruin it. I'm not sure what kind of person carries their laptop in their jacket, but you could probably carry a full-size squirt gun in it if you wanted to. The pockets are great and have more than any other jacket or vest I own. The zip on the quilted lining is a bit flimsy, but this is a mesh jacket, so it just prolongs life in the early cold. Also, you need something thicker. It could easily be all season if you're in California or Florida, where it's hot 90% of the year.
