I was told on the forums to search for "toothed belt" to find the one that says "gates" and buy it. I'm glad I did. First, idle actuators (because I drive them first) are way better than OEM (Subaru WRX in my case). OEM idler pulleys had bearings that were half pulley. Gates was in full growth. This caused a small problem with the small diameter, requiring a longer bolt (about 1/2 inch longer on the WRX). I was a little disappointed that this 79 cent part wasn't included, but I had the right one. in my gear baskets. Thread lock was included, nice if you don't have one. Best of all, the positions of the timing belt pulleys were marked on the belt. 51 teeth from the crank to the right inlet mark, 28 from the inlet mark to the outlet mark etc. That was a big help and as I said what you get from buying quality. part to deteriorate. A kit like this not only made installation easier, but knowing the parts are better than the OEMs keeps you up at night. I will buy again without hesitation.
