OK. I like their shape and the fact that they don't roll off the table. It's actually very beautiful. I can't stand taking pencils all the time. The cover is very pretty and my two year old can't open it which I like a lot. She should ask me to open it. I usually keep them out of reach, but when we're done with that I sometimes put them aside while we focus on a new task, and if I have to leave the room for a second I don't have to worry about it coming immediately to a jumble of crayons scattered everywhere. They don't have wraps, so there are fewer problems with sharpening. They seem strong, but not as strong as giant crayons. We haven't had a single break yet, but my daughter doesn't push at all. I actually have an issue where she is too light in her strokes. But she played them like drumsticks and banged them a little. No breaks. They're inexpensive too. However, there are some disadvantages. They are not as bright as pencils. I don't know if it's due to lack of pigment or the type of wax used. They have a slightly firmer feel than regular colored pencils and this can make a difference in how easily they apply color to the page. The choice of colors is also a bit strange. There's pink and lavender, something like light blue with a touch of green, but no light green. In general, this is a light version of the primary and most of the secondary colors except one. There are two identical brown ones and two green ones. One is slightly bluer than the other. There is a copper color. I can't call it gold because it's too red, but not silver at all. The lightest pink is barely visible on paper, but the darker one is lighter than it looks and is actually pink. You really have to use crayons to see how they color because that's not always how they look. The next two shades of purple in my drawing are two colors that look black, but one is dark blue and the other is dark green. There are a few nice colors that matter, like peach for a skin tone, or gray for stone or metal. My daughter and I draw what she knows, like parks, popular cartoon characters, people, etc. So these colors are beautiful. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but I wish the colors were more saturated.
