Review on M16545 Filter Replaces Remington Heaters by Bill Forbis

I had a masterpro 135000 btu kerosene salamander. It did not work. Took it apart to see what was going on, cleaned the air pump, checked the igniter and bled air through the fuel line to the injector, it worked. The plastic backplate was found to be cracked, preventing the pump from delivering air to the injector. I put this new plate and filter in place and the heater started working right away! Was very happy. NOTE The air pressure regulator is NOT pre-installed. You need to assemble it and adjust the air pressure. I assembled it and adjusted the control ball to feel the same as the old one. But you need to install an air sensor.
