DOES NOT ACCEPT car-to-car transfers

Very easy to program. Has almost no reception power, can pick up some transmissions from police/fire base stations, but is either VERY clumsy or mobile devices are unresponsive. Frustrating because mobile units give latitude/longitude of fires. I was hoping that handhelds had gotten better over the past 20 years, but that's not the case. Many years ago my father had a pocket computer, it wasn't the best either, maybe good for the city, but in the country where the police/fire brigade radios for many kilometers, it's rather useless.
