Soft and snuggly feel, the thickness alone works well as a sunscreen and also works well as a base layer. Bought two - an XL for cones which is 5'10" and 210lbs and fits perfectly but doesn't feel like the valve allows his backpack to lay properly for use in bathroom #2. I bought one in M for me 5ft 7in and 135lbs because the fabric and color are so lovely. My crotch is ridiculously low but I can use it in the bathroom (plus I don't have any nuts or berries lol). It was getting warmer so we wore them no more than 3 times, but we take them out into the high desert on chilly evenings when we're in a rustic mood.
