Bought this pump to pump waste liquids from an oil dump bucket back into empty recycling jugs. Assembly and fittings could be better, could be easier to assemble and set up. Once assembled and set up for the bucket, it works pretty well and fits snugly in the standard 5 gallon plastic buckets you see everywhere. I wish it pumped more volume per stroke, it takes quite a bit of pumping to fill a liter bottle. One thing I mentioned in other reviews was that the pump leaks at the top, which I did until I did a little research. What I've found is that the nut on the top of the pump housing that the piston rod goes through is barely finger tight when it comes out of the box. There is a compression seal under this nut. So when you tighten this nut a little, it pushes the seal against the stem and prevents fluid from leaking out. You have to be careful not to overtighten it, otherwise the seal will be pinched so tight that the stem won't slip, and then of course it won't work. If you look at the picture I've attached, you'll see a red arrow pointing to the mother in question.
