Screen protectors are a must for me. I drop my phone so many times (unintentionally) that I end up scratching the screen when I'm not using it (and I've done it so many times). For my OnePlus 8 Pro, I wanted to make sure I had a screen protector. This works with an in-screen fingerprint scanner - and this one works. The installation was a little strange, but after reading it, the instructions made sense. The first time I installed it I couldn't remove the case which resulted in the screen protector not being quite right. It sticks well to the screen and worked great, but I had to fix it. After trying to do this WITHOUT the installation tools, I ended up throwing away the first unit of the pack and got a new one, then I USE the tools. BINGO. Great fit, great function. I even like the tactile feel of the TPU plastic - it just gives my screen a little 'grip' for lack of a better term. At first I had a few blisters that I dealt with easily and after 24 hours I can't even tell I'm wearing it. Now I've dropped my phone a few times after installing it. no damage to phone or protection. I can't say if TPU protects as well as tempered glass, but I don't plan on putting the phone in a holder to test it. I suspect TPU works well for my particular "damage pattern". Overall I would recommend this screen protector if you are looking at one. I don't see any indication that I need any of the other two devices in my pack and it's nice to know they're there when I need them!
