I bought this to install on my covered porch and was very disappointed. It arrived with an unbalanced blade that made it vibrate insanely. The company sent another blade that was better balanced. Now sometimes only 1 or 2 of the 3 speeds are turned on. I've probably been using it for less than an hour and the cruise control isn't working properly so it's not a usage issue but it seems to have gone bad from the factory. Also, the air path it moves is very narrow, so it's not good for a porch or patio. Maybe it would be with a couple of them. I ended up putting ceiling fans on my patio and taking them to the garage. It still works well but not worth the money they charge.
