This is suitable for outdoor installation with broadband sound. The only problem is that the construction of the clamping screw leaves a lot to be desired. It will loosen you from the vibrations associated with street tuning. I only lost mine after driving maybe 2 miles from home but I was able to track it down. The only mod it needs is a backup nut to tighten the pinch bolt after you tighten it to the exhaust pipe. I used an M8 nut which fits perfectly on the clamp bolt. I tightened the nut on the bolt and left the yoke attached to my exhaust pipe for two days of tuning. Has gone through a couple of heat cycles and probably 15 miles of tuning and the clamp was just as tight as it was when it first started.
