Serious improvement needed

Serious improvement needed; does not adhere well to tailpipe, has been dropped on the road a few times for loosening of the yoke, and blown out on higher horsepower cars on the dyno, nearly ruining the broadband box and wiring harness. I would recommend making your own as almost any clamp you can make will hold up at least as well. Looks great!

  • Good thing
Cons
  • Not bad

compact unit. in spare parts

The clamp looks compact and fits most exhaust pipes. The finish looks nice but I'm not sure the silver plating will last long. The clip came in a clear bag and shipping box. Not packed in the original box. Not sure what they were. I recommend adding a lock nut to the threads when attaching the clamp to the pipe. It can unscrew itself in case of exhaust vibration.

  • practical item

Something is missing: clamps

This is suitable for outdoor installation with broadband sound. The only problem is that the construction of the clamping screw leaves a lot to be desired. It will loosen you from the vibrations associated with street tuning. I only lost mine after driving maybe 2 miles from home but I was able to track it down. The only mod it needs is a backup nut to tighten the pinch bolt after you tighten it to the exhaust pipe. I used an M8 nut which fits perfectly on the clamp bolt. I tightened the nut on

Exactly as others have described - see. To update!

Seems like a great idea but as others have described it can fall off easily. It will not give accurate readings at idle due to insufficient flow. So you have to drive it to get a good reading. It seems like it was actually designed for dyno use, which is great, but most reputable dyno shops have auto focus. It is necessary that it can hang on the track or on the street, it was not cheap. exhaust bracket. I also placed a small section of toolbox liner under the attachment point. Survived…

Needs a better attachment mechanism

The exhaust gas detector worked great in my garage but when I went out into the street to map out the yoke came loose. It then broke loose and disappeared down the track, destroying the LSU sensor. After an hour on the freeway I found it and it survived with some damage. After repairing it (the hole rang a little) I made a wire holder and have used it many times since with no problems. I think adding a nut to tighten the clamp might be enough to prevent loosening, but I haven't tried it. It…
