For reference, it's better than other products I've used. It lasts all day and doesn't stain pillows etc. Caveats: I have thick dark hair and this product doesn't cover silver roots unless I spray hairspray first and then apply. Even then I can still see, but most others won't even notice. Another complaint of mine is that my fingers turn black because of the tiny applicator handle. It is covered with a powder that settles where the applicator lies. It only washes out with water - and I expect the product will wash out of my hair if I get caught in a downpour.
