Review on Enhanced Delta Faucet R10000-UNBXHF MultiChoice Universal Shower Valve Body for Shower Faucet Trim Kits by John Shorter

We renovated the guest bathroom about 6 months ago and the master bathroom less than a month ago. In both cases we installed the same Delta Multichoice valve body. 2 months ago the faucet in the bath got cold even with the valve set to the hottest temperature. We called a plumber who found the cartridge defective and replaced it for over $200. The shower faucet in the main bathroom got cold yesterday. We started by adjusting the hot water stop all the way counterclockwise, but the water still flowed cold. I called Delta and they will send a replacement cartridge which should arrive in about a week. While I'm glad they honor their warranty, I'd prefer the devices didn't fail as quickly.
