Makes loud noises when running dry.
Used as the primary pump on my diesel tractor. Powered by gravity so I don't know the suction power. Has worked great so far. Pushes diesel fuel up the 5/16 inch hose 3 feet above the pump, through the filter, and then down 2 feet to the high pressure pump.
