Review on Stylish SINGER 07276 Sewing Basket with Complete Pink & Black Sewing Kit Accessories by Gelin Battle

Bought this sewing basket as a gift for my boyfriend. I was impressed that the kit should include thread, safety pins, needles and a pin cushion. Singer is a famous brand so I was excited. The box itself is pretty cute. I was very sad to see what was inside. The thread consisted of tiny spools smaller than the size of a travel kit. The safety pins were very small and cheap. The included pincushion was hard as rock and almost impossible to get a pin into. To be honest I threw away the kit that came with it, because I thought it was cheap and I would be embarrassed to include it in my gift. I went to the local fabric store and bought full size spools of white, tan, brown, blue, black, red, gray and green thread, a container of 50 strong safety pins, a nice pin cushion, a 25 button, 20 pin starter kit Needle threader, a thimble and a seam ripper (replacing all my discarded items) with good quality items. My friend was so excited when she opened the sewing kit. I suggest purchasing a sewing box and not relying on the items included to complete your gift. You are disappointing.
