One star because despite the fact that the product clearly states that it fits pre-FACELIFT e46 models, it didn't even come close to fitting my 2001 325xi (aka pre-facelift ). The shape of the grid is not the same. So do not buy this for 1998-2001 e46 models. 2002 and up I think the shape of the headlight could fit and hence the shape of the grille has been slightly changed for these models. Otherwise the quality seemed perfectly fine.
