I personally bought this cutting board to use on picnics. Not your typical bag-in-hand picnic, more like driving through the middle of the forest and then picking it up from the car. I see myself (although haven't done so yet due to Covid restrictions) using it for a party in the back of the house. I can take any cheeses, veggies, etc. I want/need with me and then cut and cook right on the spot. This makes it part of the experience and ensures freshness. The cut surface is really tough/durable. This makes it easy to clean. The cutting plate adheres very well to the board. It also makes it easier to use and a lot safer in my opinion. I recommend this product.
