MARVELOUS ! in home theater

Icstation Digital Audio Transmitter 88-108MHz PLL Stereo DSP Module with LCD Microphone USB Input Unlike some clones, this FM transmitter appears as a USB device and can transfer sound from your "computer, laptop, phone etc" via USB The device shows up as CD002 I've tried it on both Windows7 and Windows 10 and no drivers were needed Setup1 I have a 75cm -Antenna connected (needs to be soldered to the board) and placed it in the middle of our vacant lot I watched YouTube through my laptop The range was 95.8 meters or 314 feet before the signal started dropping. It is impressive! The receiver used was the V-115Setup2. It used the same 75cm antenna and hooked it up to a computer in my living room. My VHF antenna for my audiophile. the roof of my two story house. This means that the transmission has to go through 2 furnished floors. Also in stereo the reception was perfect again. There was no background noise. The sound quality was excellent. So let's do a frequency analysis. Computer sweep (from zero to 24 kHz was generated in Wavelab and played through the device) The spectrum analyzer was connected to the RCA jacks of a Rotel tuner. up to 15kHz. There is a minimal transition around 152 Hz. I couldn't change the volume with the PC volume. Even when muted, the device still received a full signal via USB. The volume controls on the device worked perfectly. Setup 2. In this setup I used the Device Signal Generator's AUX input to feed the sweep from zero to 24kHz. The spectrum analyzer was connected to the RCA jacks of the Rotel tuner. That is amazing. The device is of course powered by USB, while still connected to the computer the device does not recognize the AUX 3.5mm input. You can connect your device to a USB charger via USB. When connected to a USB charger, the device will recognize the 3.5mm AUX input ------------------------------ ---- - ------------ ------- I also made the body in Sketchup and 3D printed it. I'll contact the seller and see if there's a way to download the STL file. Only for personal use. On the right is the SMA antenna connector (see screenshots). The ground of this jack is soldered to the GND of the 3.5mm input jack. For those who grew up with CB, a good antenna is key to transmission range. The unit can work with a 75cm cable, but I recommend using a good quality grounded VHF antenna.
