Looks good works well needs good maintenance buy two straight away

Everything looks very nice from the jars themselves to the insulating sleeve and packaging which we also saved on. Save the packaging for safekeeping. The glass is good for brewing hot water with tea and especially looks good with a stencil. It holds 2 small cups of liquid and the double walled glass insulates quite well. Order two so you and your significant other can have two cups of tea/coffee/whatever. However, the heat of the boiling liquid is easily felt through the walls of the jar and even when placed in the heat-insulating sleeve. The heat from hot tap water isn't as easily felt through the double-walled glass, and with liquids both boiling and just hot, we were able to hold the glasses without discomfort. Cleaning is a little more involved as the glass is a tube that opens at both ends once you unscrew the top and bottom. The bottom and top of the jar easily unscrew and have silicone rings as seals. After disassembling the tank for cleaning, also clean the seals. Always remove both ends of the glass when cleaning as dirt or debris can collect on the underside. We'll be hand washing these things, but they look nice, so we don't mind. Make sure the top and bottom caps are tight to prevent leaks. The top/lid is highly polished so you can check for yourself if you're leaving the house without a mirror (God forbid). We've had the glasses for a week now and they're a nice addition to the breakfast range. They are thin and should easily fit in purses or other pockets. They look a little fragile so I wouldn't drop them or want to drop them. I think they're good for a stable table or surface where people can't tip them over. I wouldn't take them on a hike, but they might be fine for shorter trips. The insulation needs to keep the liquid hot/cold for a reasonable amount of time (1-2 hours?). Overall they look cool, are easy to use and survived the first week of use.
