There are several big issues with the design of the Sortimo i-boxx line of products (Bosch colors), which is their cheapest product:1. You need a separate table. The i-boxx system doesn't have a pull-out rail, you have to pull out the whole tray and then put it somewhere to open the lid and take something out. Also, there is no way to limit the opening degree of the lid.2. No dimples without good reason. Unlike the Sortimo T-Series cases with identical inserts, with these cases they have chosen to make the bottom completely flat, rather than making rounded recesses that would prevent the inserts from slipping. Really guys?3. The gray field is required. Sortimo and Bosch's marketing doesn't mention this construction flaw, but the spacing between the cases is such that you should always use at least 1 of the gray inserts along the right or left side, otherwise you won't be able to fill the case and given construction issue #1 2. Your bets will move otherwise.4. You should never buy the flat version (i-boxx-55) as you get nothing as the flat version plugs into the same rack at a distance. Most likely breakage point (front cover tabs) is molded as part of the clear cover, not separate pieces. So if it breaks, you need to buy a new box.6. To save a few silly pennies, the handle is molded as part of the bottom half, and the design is such that you have unused space on the front left and right. There is no ready-made practical way to mark individual missions. They're incredibly expensive, by the way, and can cost more than a case, and they're all simple injection-molded plastic containers. There is no padded option, if you need to store something in a humid environment, very dusty, etc., you need to consider other options.9. It is not possible to fold them securely for carrying etc. Overall, this product was conceived more like a retail container, manufactured as cheaply as possible with many design constraints and compromises, and sold as a carefully constructed system of German engineering. .
