Review on Sound Bar JBL Bar 2.1 Deep Bass Black by Karen Nahm ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

For a long time I chose a soundbar for a new TV, my hut is small, so I didn’t even think about 5.1 / 7.1, I watched something universal. Friends immediately said that if you take a soundbar, then only with a buffer, otherwise everything is in vain, and this is true, if you turn off the subwoofer and leave only the central panel, the sound is of course better but not much different from the regular TV speakers, but the subwoofer adds great volume and quality to the sound. Don't expect super 3d sound, overall it's flat but what do we want from a 2.1 system for 16k. It took me a long time to choose a bar. I stopped at this option and samsung HW-r550. Samsung seems to be not bad, but jbl attracted a lot of reviews, but there was also a frightening moment in it regarding the same reviews about the fact that the bar can temporarily turn off in quiet scenes. As a result, I decided to take a chance and take jbl, but I took not an ordinary one, but a deep bass, like the model is fresher, maybe that problem was fixed, and the sub is larger in size, that’s why it’s a deep bass, and the difference in price was only 1 thousand. I am pleased with the choice, although there is nothing to compare with. There haven't been any blackouts yet, there have been plenty of quiet scenes, but I'm still vigilant. Connected via HDMI arc After 2 weeks, I can say with confidence that the sound does not disappear, I don’t know how it happened on a regular bar, but everything is in order here.

Pros
  • Good sound for an audio system for 16 thousand, at the time of purchase (12/10/19), good design, the sub stands away from the TV and does not look like an extra item.
Cons
  • Only HDMI cable included.
