The thing is $60 before discount. The machine is all stainless steel and has a cool German name so people will think you paid a lot more for it but more importantly it makes great coffee that stays hot REALLY long and the fact that that it is a thermal coffee machine. One pot means you save a TON of electricity AND your coffee won't feel scalded after 20 minutes. And someone took off a star for the hole in the back - all coffeemakers have it - it prevents you from overflowing and spilling hot coffee over the counter. It's a home run deal. I highly recommend it!
