Review on 🔧 APDTY 035424 Truck Bed Mounting Hardware: Secure and Efficient Bed Attachment Solution by Stephen Burgstaller

APDTY 035424 Body mounting kit consisting of 6 bolts, washers and cage nuts. Lincoln Mark LT pickup (replaces W708605S436, W709424S901) I would not recommend this bolt kit for a 2011 Ford F-150. There are sizing and fit issues as well as quality issues. I'm guessing the fit issues will be from 2008-2012 but I can only verify the issues with my attached 2011.3 photos which show the new clips are longer than the original. This doesn't stop them from working, but it does mean they don't sit to the end of the clip as you can see in the photos. The biggest issue is the width of the metal plate that holds the nut. From my photos, it initially looks like they are the same width as the original. The problem is that the original clamps on the "bottom" - the part that holds the nut - are much narrower. This is a problem as 2 of the 6 clips need to fit the square clip in the frame and these new clips are too wide - they just don't fit. I used a cut-off wheel on my grinder to remove just over 1/8 inch of the metal so I could fit it into the frame holes. In terms of quality, one of the 6 nuts came loose from the metal plate that was supposed to hold the nut and prevent it from turning. Now I can't fully tighten this screw. Worse, I won't be able to remove it - I'll have to cut that screw off the inside of the bed if I need to remove the bed in the future. The one that failed is one of two that has the nut side hidden in the frame tube! So there is no way to get down to keep the nut. I prefer to give rave reviews but for this product I have to say no. A set from Ford costs about the same money. I only bought them because I could get them quicker than waiting at my Ford dealer. Now I regret my haste.
