Firstly, I didn't get this controller for nothing in exchange for a review. Although I would have liked to. I bought it after reading dozens of reviews and decided to give it a try. I decided to go back to gaming and GTA V specifically to play mods and I didn't want to use the keyboard. I grew up with Xbox and loved the controller so I bought it. The controller is very responsive. It vibrates and it's very noticeable when it happens. It requires 2 AA batteries to operate and the manual states that they will run for around 20 hours with the vibrate mode on. I'm getting pretty close to that number, so we need to look at that. I recommend using rechargeable batteries. The controller turns off after about 3-5 minutes of inactivity, which is great for battery life. To turn it back on, I just press the button and it turns on immediately. I haven't tested the distance, but rumor has it it works up to about 30 feet away (don't quote me). So far so good with this management and if anything drastic happens I will update asap.
