Review on Hertz Hcp 1Dk D Class Amplifier by Dewey Tory

For a long time I had trouble powering my 1505 audio lane and every amp I used would get hot and blow and then blow fuses . In the end I stopped at the local car radio repair shop and was willing to just buy something to avoid the protection mode if I left the bass on for more than 1 minute. My pick was the $389 jl audio amp or this $315 Hertz amp which originally cost $480, Hertz had a slightly higher RMS rating and people I spoke to didn't try to convince me Selling a more expensive one, they really helped me decide on Hertz. It only took me 5 minutes to make a decision. I'm very glad I did. In the end I settled on the skar evl 15 subwoofer and deleted my audioban as it turned out that one of the voice coils had burned out. Now I can turn up the volume while driving or from anywhere and the amp never goes into protection mode. I can feel the amp when I arrive at my destination, just out of habit to check and make sure it's not overheating and always at a normal temperature, not hot like my old amps. It actually makes my system easier to boot up rather than killing the amp or turning it off every 30 seconds. Of all the amps I have ever used in my life I would say this was my best purchase. Its power is more than enough for the sub I have, it shakes the car and gets the job done with no issues. I would highly recommend this amp to anyone. I didn't buy the amp here, a bug I just solved as only 1 person checked it. I will give my honest review of my experience I bought last week.
