Firstly, not great - the mouse holder you attach separately is poorly constructed - the clip is NOT secure - it might not withstand the lengthening pressure of use Mouse. So I tried using it as a tray for my phone but there is no ledge on the edge so you can tip it without slipping off your phone. Speaking of the lip, the lip is 3/4" to keep your laptop from sliding off, it's not adjustable, and the average laptop keyboard is barely 1/2" so I just propped the keyboard over the lip instead. It works great - the push-button locking mechanisms on each corner are solid and install with a healthy click, so you know they're locked. I set this up as a standing table at the end of our dining table and the height is only set to about 3/4 of the maximum possible and mine is just under 6 inches so if you are taller it will work fine. There's minimal lateral wobble (but a bit), but that's to be expected given the lightweight material. No issues or issues sliding forward or backward. The hinges are grade marked so you can easily mount it on one side and then use They use the same angular measurements for the opposite. At less than $50, it's a steal.
