Randomly turns off every few min without warning, throwing you off it

Charged it fully over I after receiving it. Took it out for the first time and after about 5min of riding it would just turn off without so much as a single beep. No warning at all. A single button press turned it back on and it worked for a couple min then did it again. Not sure if I just got a dud, but that’s a super dangerous bug to have. Not going to risk trying another. Already got banged up pretty good from falling when it turned off on me. Seems their quality control misses quite a bit.
